Bag Filter 

The Bag Filter separates dust from the exhaust gas by collecting them on the filter media. 

Function of a Bagfilter

It operates like the bag of an electric vacuum cleaner entrapping the solid particle on surface of the bag. The filter media is cleaned by reverse airflow called backwashing (pulse-jet).
The functions and usage of the bag filter account for the collection of large dust particles and therefore are also termed as fabric dust collectors. Bag filters are typically used for Industrial purposes to get rid of dusty gases and be responsible towards a safer environment. Bag filters for powder coating are built with an efficiency level of 99% for the collection of very fine particulates.
